The DW733 is a compact, portable unit which is ideal for small workshops or mobile use on site. I bought this thicknesser a number of years ago and it has coped with everything I have thrown at it, from cheap B&Q pine all the way up to hard reclaimed oak. Due to the weight and size it will be expensive post this item, so ideally it will need to be collected from Gloucestershire. The blades have been professionally resharpened by Tewkesbury Saw Company. I have also added an aftermarket digital readout by Wixey for improved accuracy.

The dust shroud is attached, and all of the tools are present except for the allen key which has vanished like all allen keys do. There is a small amount of pitting on the in-feed and out-feed tables, but with a thin coat of wax the wood still glides over them smoothly. No Load Speed: 10000 rpm. Sound Power: 95.0 dB(A). Sound Power Uncertainty: 3.3 dB(A).

Sound Pressure: 108.0 dB(A). Sound Pressure Uncertainty: 3.7 dB(A). Head lock facility locks the cutter head into place to eliminate any movement in the cutter, providing a high quality surface finish. Large infeed and outfeed tables provide added material support when cutting large materials.

4 post column design allows the cutter head to move up and down smoothly and accurately. Designed for portability on the job site and in small workshops. Powerful 1800 Watt motor makes large surface planing easy. Holes located in the base enable the machine to be fitted to a work bench.

Thickness scale, material removal gauge and graduated depth crank make accurate planing quick and easy.
