The GBH 36V-EC Compact Professional is the first professional Bosch Power Tool to be driven by a brushless EC (electronically commutated) motor. This technology results in a low abrasive and maintenance-free motor that makes carbon brushes unnecessary.

It's a higher degree of efficiency (80-90%) compared to a standard DC-Motor (70%) makes the GBH 36 V-EC Compact Professional one of the most advanced cordless SDS+ hammers in the world. The GBH 36V-EC Compact Professional is the first Bosch Cordless Hammer with an Active Vibration Control system. It works with a compression spring and flexible handle.
